Vote Your Values
How do I use my values to vote in November?
Oprah told us that values and character matter most of all this election season. This may be true, but how do we get there? Identifying our values is not easy. Most of us are living by values that have been handed to us versus cultivated by us.
Meet Val, our AI powered chat bot who will help guide you through the values identification process. She’s curious, kind and welcomes engagement from everyone.
She’s here to help you identify your true values so that you can show up to the polls in November with confidence and clarity around who you are voting for.
The Vote with Your VALues tool uses OpenAI services to provide information to help you identify your values and determine who to vote for in this upcoming election. Please verify Vote with Your VALues answers with the links it provides you, and do not rely on its responses as a substitute for your own decision process.
The External Work
Session 2 - The external work : A working session to help you find bipartisan resources, fact-check, and do your research. We’ll walk you through some of the key issues to dig into and help you identify what is most important to you in this upcoming election. The final step will be aligning your values to your vote and understanding which candidate’s beliefs would be best aligned with what you care about.
Our goal is to create space for each of us to do the research, get curious, and find alignment - wherever that may lead you. We want you to feel informed, confident and in alignment when you complete your ballot this November.
The Internal Work
Session 1 - The internal work: A guided workshop to help you identify your TRUE values. During this hour you will reflect on your past experiences, both rewarding and frustrating. These reflections will surface what you deeply care about and may surprise you. Your values serve as the foundation for your decision making, both in big moments like the upcoming election and small day to day moments like whether or not to go to an event.
In our next session, we’ll build upon this foundation and show you how you can apply your values to your vote in this upcoming election.
